Platy Fry

My pregnant platy is giving birth now, so far i have seen 4 and have saved 1. She is now in a breeding trap. How long will it be before she has finished because she still looks big and the gravid spot is still there?

Yay congrats!!! its dif w every fish i think!! i used to put them back in the main tank at the 10 hour point bc i read somewhere that is when they get really hungry and start eating them all. I let them have them in the tank now cause I had to many babies!!! Good Luck!!

I still only have this one now. The gravid spot is still there but no more have been layed for over 5 hours now
