Platty problem

Yesterday I put my pregnant platty in a 2.5 gallon that has a filter and heater.I filled half the tank with water from the community tank and the rest was new.When I woke up I found these white spongy things floating in the tank .She seems thinner than before but she still has her gravid spot.checked the Ph levels and everything else and there stable.Whats wrong with her.

What did the white spongy things look like.

Some were 3 cm long.the only other way I could describe it is that it looked liked snot

She could of aborted then can't think what else it could be, and if she has gone thinner thats all i can think of.

But she still has her gravid spot.I'm sure thats not a spot she was born with because she did not have it when I brought her.Shes sort of a greyish white color.

Its posible the tank already had somthing living in it like snails or somthing and when they died their soft tissue rotted and turned white and cotton like; it is also posible that the same thing happened with some insects that could have fallen in the tank.

Last night I was watching her and she seemed to have diarrhea.Could this have contributed to these white things?

Whe fish abort it usually look's long and stringy with beads like a necklace
