Platty fry in breeding trap

Hi

Have caught 3 Platty fry (two more to catch) and they are in my breeding trap and am feeding them tera fish dust.
They are eating it but how often do I try and clean the trap out as the fish dust goes to the bottom??

I have an extra breeder net...so when one gets messy...i put them in the clean one, and clean that one...so on and so forth...the way I transfer them from one net to the next, I put both nets in at the same time and I keep the empty one in the water, and slowly raise the one that the fry is in out of the water, having the nets opening to opening and they swim right in, with no stress on them...I don't know any other way.

If you only have on breeding trap tank you could always have a container fill it up with the main aquarium water then put the fry in there while you clean out the breeding trap. You clean out the breeding trap everytime it gets dirty ^__^
