Platties acting funny

The first week the platties were very happy constantly swimming around and chasing each other, but these last couple of days they've been hiding in the plants alot and not moving much. I've noticed a couple have been laying on the gravel (not laying down just resting on top of the gravel) the tanks been cycled\

Have you tested the water for ammo, nitrite and nitrate?

Yeah what are you water "levels"

Are they eating? Are their fins clamped? Platys sitting on the bottom for long periods of time is not a good sign.

If there are no phyiscal signs like fungus or white patches, or flicking and rubbing, and your water quality is good, I would try anti internal bacteria med but once they lay listless on the bottom there on the way to dieing.

its not something they do all day..i think it just has to do with their behavior right now..i saw the two bigger ones trying to nibble on each other...hopefully they can settle out their differences
