hello evryone i read and read about plants but im not sure what plants to get for my 2 and half foot fish tank and im making it into a ram tank
????

Really anything that can be fully aquatic.

Good plants for a beginner to learn on would be:

Anubias {attached to wood or rock}
Bacopa {any variety}
Varieties of "Amazon Swords" Echinodorus

one of the difficult decisions...when i started my planted tank i spent hours online reading about all the plants and after abt 6 months, im still learning...
depends on your substrate and your lighting conditions.
i have anubias petite and some weeping moss on bogwood....
love the fissiden fontanus attached to the bogwood...
for background i have baby tears and red lugwigia...ludwigia do grow really fast...needs regular pruning..

I have a tank just a bit bigger than 2.5 ft, with sand, wood and rocks and I can grow vallis (A ridiculous amount, it literally covers 1/4 of the floor space in there), anubias on some wood, crypts, bacopa and i've had a couple of swords but they got huge. All of that on an 18w bulb with no Co2 or ferts :)

Look through the journals, see what others have & what you like the look of.
Then work out which would be suitable for you to grow.
