I noticed yesterday that one of the leaves of my swordplants was chopped in half. I got rid of my silver dollars, and I think that the leaf was just cut.

What fish could have been the cause of this?
It's my 55 gallon tank, so it can only be the black skirt tetras or the gourami. I don't think it's either though, but it might be the gourami (I think they're primarily carnivorous so therefore can't be the cause). Can anyone tell me what the problem might be by looking at the fish in my sig?

It is in a corner. However, there's another one that has the same thing. It's not me and it probably isn't a fish. However, it happened twice so I wanted to know what the problem might be.

It is probably your Pleco gettin rowdy at night. Move the plant. See if it happens again :hyper:
When I first got live plants my pleco got super 'rowdy' and knocked over, broke, and moved them around. I think he likes them, just got a little excited

My plec causes a different type of damage to my plants. Plecs wear away at the leaves, leaving behind holes and brown leaves. That's occuring in my tank, but the cute leaves are a separate issue. I've also noticed a bit of nipping at the leaves (not the action, but the result of), but that might just be because they're newer leaves.
