Plants ?

well i wanna buy some real plants for my tank cos the fake ones i got now are crap !

they are all droopy n look horrible,

but first wanna know some pros and cons of plants any body got some ideas ?

pros: they compete with algae so should help keep it down
in my lfs theyre cheaper than fake plants!
if you get the right ones you dont really need to do anything to them

They don't die if you choose them to suit your water conditions, choose hardy specimens and have a halfway decent substrate with a fertiliser base. I emptied my tank a couple of months ago to put in two tubs of Tetra Complete Sustrat and I've barely lost a leaf since. That's without any additional liquid fertilisers. It's the best money I've spent on my tank (the two tubs cost me around £26).
