i am going to use sand and was wondering what types will suit ? it is a 240 litre tank ?

most likely going to use something under for the plants to feed off.

Only problem you have have is stem cuttings tend up break loose a lot until theyve rooted.

ARE THE WEIGHTS YA CAN BUY ANY GOOD TO SOLVE THAT PROBLEM. ONES WITHOUT LEAD?
I HAVE SEEN TERICOTA ONES TOO.

no really...a tiny HC cutting will just need time to root...a lead weight will more than likely kill it lol

so it is better not to use any weights at all then ?
Yeah. Don't use them.

I they needed weights to stop them from floating around they would have evolved to have them.
