Plants Doing Well Or Dying?

I set up my first tank a week ago now, i put 3 anubias, java fern (which are all tied to driftwood) and a moss ball in. How long will i have to wait to know if they are doing well in my tank? And apart from them going brown, is there any other ways of knowing if they are not doing well?

How are you cycling your tank?

Anubias and java fern are among the slower growing plants, so you may have to wait a while but if they start sprouting new leaves then you can take that as positive, if the anubias flowers then even better but not many do that.

I have anubias and Java in my tank. Its been running for about a month. At first the leaves darkened and then started to develope holes which i will address with Co2. They didnt start to sprout new leaves for a while though
