Plants Beginner

I am currently in College and am not able to take my 10 gallon tank to school and want to put some live plants in it over the summer. At school I have a small 2.5 gallon tank for my betta fish and I just want to get some suggestions for a few plant species that I could try and suggestions on how to maintain them.

java moss, java ferns, and duckweed (a floating plant)


all ridiculously easy to care for and i've set up tanks with these three plants alone.

just add some source of light and they'll survive.
