Planting A Tank

The stand and overhang is pretty neat. So modern looking. The tank itself reminds of the care bears. No idea why...

What lights do you recommend then? I don't think I will be able to get T-5's.

I couldn't find any T-6 lights.

Ok, last things before I go buy stuff. Please correct me if wrong.

Filter: Fine just don't put Carbon in it because it will take away nutrients for plants and keep it on a higher flow.
Lighting: Making my own housing. T-8 48" long 6,700K 32W x4. WPG: Around 2.3-2.5 (Or I can do 32W x3. WPG: Around 1.7-1.9) Which would be best?
Substrate: SeaChem Flourite. My question is how deep should this be? Is an inch (2.5cm) fine?
Ferts: Plant Nutrition+ and root tabs if I get a sword.
CO2: Not sure if I need it.

Looking at these plants with this setup:

Hornwort (Ceratophyllum submersum)
Dwarf Hairgrass (Eleocharis acicularis)
Brazilian Pennywort (Hydrocotyle leucocephala)
Amazon Sword (Echinodorus amazonicus)
Java Fern (Microsorum pteropus)
Moss/Marimo Ball (Cladophora aegagrophila)
Wisteria (Hygrophila difformis)
Java moss (Vesicularia dubyana)
Onion Plant (Crinum thaianum)

with regards to the lighting, if you go for the higher light, you will need CO2, and more nutrients dosed, so unless you want this, then stick for the lower lighting.

have the substrate a minimum of 2" for where you want to plant, to create depth, youu might want more to add to the back so it slopes.

You wont need any root tabs as you have flourite ;)

CO2 - like i said above

PLant list sounds fine :)

are you doing a journal?

Thanks for your help Aaron :) And the others as well.

Yes, I will make a journal. I should be getting my check soon so I can start on it.
