Thanks very much for explaining all that to me. He is certainly an impressive chap and obviously has beautiful manners
I suppose being blind he likes to stay in the water where he knows his way around. Interesting ow he doesn't any dead fish either!! I would have thought that the smell of a rotting fish would have been delicious to him but I guess he now likes someone to diced it for him first.

wow what a lovely planted tank and your cecilian looks well fat how big is he mine is around 20" long and ive had him for 4yrs now

He is about 23" I have had him 5 years now. The female I had was bigger and fatter then him as well XD. I got both of them at the same time and they were 12" back then. He is pig and a jerk since he tried to bite me during the water change today. I have hand fed him for years and he's pretty good about it. Most the time he just noses about looking for food but occasionally he bites . He got bopped on the head and ran away.

I just did a 70% water change on this tank today and got it cooled down to 78 from 83. Doesn't help when the room is 80 and running the lights makes the tank hotter. Lost 3 rosy barbs last week and wasn't sure why till someone told me they were cool water fish lol. IDK what the remaining ones chances are since this heatwave is suppose to hang around awhile. I wake up every morning and my room is 84 >.<

Amazing tank! Love all the tetras and rainbowfish What stocking is in them? Also, do you use ferts/CO2? The plants are gorgeous! Only craving your tanks a lot...
