Hi,as i am redoing my nano where is the cheapest place to buy a PFK cube.Do any shops in camebridgeshire sell them?I have seen the 30x 30 x30 for £45.00 on ebay.

I'm fairly sure someone else has ripped off the same tank/setup, I think it is maybe AquaOne or someone like that, I'm sure I have seen it in a recent PFK advert...

I think it was Arcadia, i'm sure it had the Arcpod light on there.

Yep, Arcadia it was, much better light than the one supplied with the PFK cube though still the teeny and imho horrid little filter thing.

Yes, I also noticed that.

At my LFS (in Kent) they were selling them for £39.95.

Has anyone got a link for this? I've searched online and can't find it anywhere. Or names of LFS's (hopefully chains of stores!) that are selling this Arcadia tank? I saw an advert for it in this months PFK magaine, but can't seem to find it anywhere!

Maidenhead aquatics do them, well my local one anyway (oxford)

Sam

you could also get one made maidenhead peterborough said they could make me one for 20 odd quid. aint like filters are expensive. the most expensive bit will be the lights

Ah nice, thanks for the replies :)

Checked out my local World of water today on way back from the office, they didn't have it in (no surprises there), but I'll check out my maidenhead aquatics on tuesday :good:

hi cheesy feet i bought the aquaqube 40 from ebay it cost 50 poundsthe one i got measures 33 x 33 x 40

Aquaone does a range of cube tanks, quite cheap considering, although it is just tank only. But then you just need to add light and a HOB, maybe.

:good:

Got a AquaQube 40ltr from this branch today.

Stupidly tried my local on (Newbury) then checked the Swindon branches then onto the Oxford one before I found it. Why I didn't just goto Oxford first I don't know, was just hoping there'd be one closer, Oxford was last on my big loop of a drive!

Now set up, with a few plants in it waiting for the sand to finish settling down and the temperature to rise up a bit more.

On a plus note, the Oxford branch of Maidenhead Aquatics was very impressive. Nice big shop area, with lots stocked in it and some very friendly and knowledgeable staff there! Will definitely be making a return trip to there at some point, well worth the journey up there!

Yeah I'll have a go! Not actually got a digital camera, but my housemate's phone camera isn't too bad. Just gotta catch him beofre he flies off to sweden tomorrow lol. I'll see what I can do though, would be nice to just have pictures of this tank so that I can compare and admire how well/badly i'd done over time!
