Planted Pea Puffer Savannah

My new plants arrived from H2O Plants. I had to do another sand vac, and manually remove hair algae before putting the new plants in. Otos do not like hair algae. I did quite a bit of scrubbing on the wood to remove green algae as well. The puffers were quite curious about all my shenanigans. They do not avoid the vac hose! But they made it out ok.

Plants I added tonight:
Cryptocoryne Parva
Four Leaf Clover
Water Sprite (Indian Fern)
Italian Val
Four Leaf Clover (Dwarf)

Well I still need to separate the four Leaf Clover plants. I was exhausted doing all that work so late on a Wednesday night. I think it will have to wait until the weekend or maybe even the next water change.

I dosed the tank with Seachem Excel last night to keep the algae from coming back. I'm still a bit nervous about adding more fertilizer. I don't want everything to turn green again.

During feeding last night one of the puffers became very aggressive. He tried to intimidate all the other puffers away. I had to wiggle the feeding cone to spread out the worms because he would nip anyone that got near it. Here is the Bully.
