Truely lovely tank and fish (10/10 for you yet again) - love your Oscar, but your BP is just georgeous

Tank looks great, had too oscars like that once (when i first started out) was sold them by someone who didnt know anything  , bullyed and killed a few other fish luckily the lfs took them back and exchanged for something else.

She posts the pics, and ges credit, i do the water changes, prune the plants, clean the filters, test the water and i get forgotten about......

oscar is a great fish that tank houses al our fave fish, oscar, the oscar, polly the parrot fish, spot the syno and Al the plec, and besides needing alot of water shifting for water changes is one of our most low maintenance tanks

Freaky - I'd only said a week or two ago that I wished there was a company out there that could set up your tanks/move existing ones/aquascape etc - but on the other hand, that's all part of the pride/enjoyment of doing it yourself :hyper:

Water changes though.....

Anyway, I ramble - fantastic looking tanks and fish :good:

never been 100% sure, we were sold him as a 'spotted syno' the closest thing we've found searching through planted catfish and the like is a common syno... however if you say this to anyone they don't know what it is?? so he's a little bit of a mystery.

Cool tank. That Oscar does look fantastic, gets me wanting another again.

I had an Oscar several years ago now in a 6ft tank with a huge plec. He was great, though I couldn't keep plants :( He was so tame, I could stroke him and easily hand feed him river shrimp. They are fantastic fish with loads of character.

Now, where can I fit that huge tank.... :p

..........any pics of the syno?

We are trying to put together an oscar tank..........and I have a couple of 7-8 inch synos (Eupterus - Featherfin Squeakers) at least one of which may go in the tank... :shifty:
