Hey guys, well since setting up my Rio 180 and planting it it looks ok. But since leaving it for a week with no light on hasnt done the plants to good as brown spots have appeared on them. Anyways check it out in this vid pics later.
It has 8 Black neon Tetra's in it,
17 Neon Tetra's
and A Bolivian Ram
And x2 Red Guppies

Very Nice! Neons are so striking when in large groups

nice start! You need to get rid of those browning leaves on the swords. Just take them off either buy hand or cut with scissors right down at the crown of the plant. Sword leaves don't tend to repair themselves, i would expect a little of this from a sword when put into a new environment.

give us a bit more about the set up eg filtration, substrate, ferts etc etc

Very nice, you're large group of neons look great!

Hey guys sorry i havent updated this post as i have been very busy with exams and school etc...
Basically to follow on from ian it has:
Roman Jet black Gravel
JBL Aquabasis plus
Sand at bottom
Dwarf Hair grass
Amazon swords
And more im not sure of...
I have added since the post a shrimp which is hiding, 5 extra neon tetra's, and 2 rummy nose tetra's.
Heres some pics and the last one of my old tank which i have re Sanded and planted. I might have a go at breeding some of my neons and sticking the fry which if works in there instead of buying more.

Get some Java Moss for the bogwood in the 65L? :hyper:

Yeah, Added 10 more black neons in the 65l, and i have riccia currently gorwing so might invest in some Java moss though ;)

OK, I'm going to be a bit of a party pooper. If you're going to keep that much stock in the 65l, I'd add more plants. I don't mind the overstock, I just think the bioload is going to be too heavy for the amount of plants you have.

Otherwise, I really like the look of both tanks. Like Ian says, gotta remove those dead leaves from the Amazon swords.
