to remove:

1) remove as much as possible
2) 50% w/c
3)overdose 3x with easycarbo or excel (you can up this gradually if you have delicate fish)
3) continue until gone
4) 50% w/c

seachem flourish & tropica plant nutrition+ are the two best fertilisers, buy either one and dose weekly (available at aqua essentials.)

oh thankyou ill try this on my black algae as well, the only tank of the three with black algae is the trigon with poorer lighting and less fast growing plants. di
