plant questions

I would suggest, the question was answered way back...

>>>
When a plant is planted immersed, it will start to develop different leaves suited to under water. They are softer and longer in shape usually.
<<<

... then or...

>>>
Rosette plants tend, under the same circumstances, to produce longer, narrower, pale semi transparent leaves.
<<<

... then.

The plant has been moved to different conditions and is adapting to the new conditions.

That's definately an amazon sword, not sure of the species though.
My Echinodurus Osiris went through exactly the same changes, the large, round emersed form leaves slowly died off, leaving long slender leaves with prominent veins to take their place.

That's an amazon sword.

Like said previously. The round leaves were when the plant was grown above the water. When put into an aquarium, the longer style leaves start to grow. When you cut off the old leaves, it does look like a completely different plant.

I went through the same thing with my amazon sword.

alright, thanks for the help.

i got 2 of these, plus i have 2 other "normal" amazon swords.

dang it, now i had to get rid of two or find out what to do with them.

thanks again
