Anybody know of a good site to order plants from, I have a friend who can't give out her address like me but needs to get plants via internet so she has to go with a company. Anybody?

Thanks

Austin

atmmachine is from the USA, at least from his profile location I presume he is....

http://www.aquariumplants.com

great service, great reputation.

I agree with Pseud, I use them too. Excellent website. Beautiful anubias and rotala especially. Wish they'd carry HC, though.

Where have you been Pseud, I've missed you. We've had a nano explosion since you've been off.

Ooooh, I've been thinking about putting in an order for some more anubias (heterphylla)... I wish shipping costs weren't so expensive.

I've still kinda been here, kinda lurking.... like a lurker does... :p

An update on Aquariumplants.com. I don't know what has happened, but evidently they've changed the website quite a bit and they are expanding, so they are experiencing typical growing pains. Other customers are having issues with their orders and they are not able to contact management. Now, I have never experienced this, but this has only just occured, and I haven't ordered plants from them since February or so. I think these incidents have been reported in the past two weeks. I will use them again, and hopefully this situation will clear up before I order plants in June. I thought you'd like an update. Evidently, they now carry HC, though they were out of stock when I checked the website.

Lurk away Psued, lurk away...

llj :)

Part of the problem is the manager, Del, has taken some time off for some personal reasons. He should be back soon and everything will be back to normal.... thanks for the heads up!

Cool man, let us know how it goes. I've found aquariumplants to be very generous, even throwing in a few extras for free. What did you order?

Gigantea (Anubias gigantea)

Java Fern (Microsorium pteropus)

Coffeefolia (Anubias barteri v. 'Coffeefolia')

Ludwigia Peruensis (Ludwigia peruensis)

Moneywort (Bacopa Monnieri)

Ludwigia, Broad Leaf (Ludwigia repens)

Bacopa (Bacopa carolina)

just got this from aquabotanic..a bit unsatisfied because none of the plants were labeled
Hygrophila costata Ludwigia repens
Ludwigia ovalis
Red Temple
Glossostigma bunches
Ludwigia glandulosa

Java Fern (Microsorium pteropus)

I'm thinking about ordering one of these. Can you please let me know how big it is when you get it and how many leaves etc? I wanna know if i should order 2..

..yeah, I haven't heard great things about aquabotanic.com... or arizona aquarium plants or whatever it is... and another one that i can't remember right now but i'll find it and edit this post
