Plant changing colour at parts?

Okay will they break off on their own?

Well after they grow do I break them off or leave them?

leave them until the plant is big and then cut or break the stems off. I prefer to use a sharp pr of scissors to cut aquarium plants. It doesn't squash or bruise the stems as much.
