Hey ive kept other tropical fish for a while now (mainly cichlids) and finally ive convinced rents to let me get another tank so i can get bettas.

Anyway ive seen loads of different ideas on tank size but still not sure.

I wanna get 3 bettas (1 male two females) but obviously wanna divide them till im certain i can handle breeding them.

whats best in terms of tank dividers any ideas? should i try to get two tanks or one which i can divide and what size should i get for 3 bettas?

also ive seen some adds for betta food which contains freeze dried food is this ok cos i know freeze dried stuff could hurt my fish???

any ideas welcome

id stear away from freeze dried foods for bettas, and for 3 bettas i would say a 10g would have room and room left over.

for food i would say live, frozen or betta pelletts

a 10g tank as mentionned above divided in 3 with a small filter and heater would be awesome!

A 10g would be great divided for them, but if you'd rather keep them apart and lower the risk of infections spreading, get a few Explorer II's. Great Betta tanks.
