PLs dont listen to this idiotic advice from this member who apparently dont know what they are talking about...HotStuffGal said:Really? Phirannas will grow and grow and grow. They are not suited for tank life and are better off nto being kept. You may think your ready but there is no way you can possibly be ready no matter how serious you are about keeping fish. They will easily outgrow a 300gallon tank within 2 years and when that happens and you don't have the room or money to buy it a new one, then what? Letting him go in the wild is a very bad thing to do for the enviroment. Please Please PLEASE reconsider this decision. It really is better off! ~ScarlettImy said:hi people
is there anybody in england who knows were i can purchase some red bellied pirana from ,
I have done all the reserch and think i am now ready
thanks
Yes i am new here but i have OWNED piranhas for about 4 yrs now and they are great fish IMO
Scarlett u have a PACU in your signature its NOT a Piranha and PACus grow quite large compared to a RED BELLY PIRANHA that only grows up to 12 inches and in rare cases a little bit bigger
Piranhas need 20gallons U.S. per fish so remember if u are going to get at least 3 Piranhas u are going to need a tank that is at least 90 gallons
i have a video of my PIRANHAS feeding on Piranha-fury.com
if u want to see it click here
and Scarlett Pls dont give out advice about a fish u DONT OWN and dont know anything about its people like u who give piranhas a BAD name
