Pirahna, Plec & Butterfly Fish

Here is a pic of one of my baby Pirahnas... By babies I mean that they are in a tank with Zebra Danios that are at least twice the size of them!

He looks like a clown pleco kind of.

He looks very much like what I bought at the lfs labeled a 'tiger pleco'. I looked up both the tiger and clown plecos on the net, and they look very much the same, but I found 2 different scientific names. Anyone know the difference? Is there a difference?

Wow, you've been busy! Never seen them as babies.

Sadly, I never bred them myself. I bough 6 for £10.00.
They are smaller than a ten pence piece at the moment, but I know they will grow a lot bigger.

As for the plec. I don't think it's a common plec. It doesn't look like one and I paid about £12.00 for it, so it ain't a common plec (they are about £2.00 here).

I also have 2 clown plecs, so it isn't one of those. Any more ideas?

I think that it is one of the tiger pelcos, if you go to planetcatfish the info you are looking for should be there

Looks good.

The Plec isn't a common or clown, it looks like Peckoltia brevis.

The closest image I can find is an L243 on planet catfish. Dunno wether this is the same as what you said Ryan.
