Having finally got every single water parameter within acceptable levels for over a couple of weeks now I went out and celebrated with a few purchases - not intentionally, it just kinda happened :shifty: . One of them was a pink knobby cuke - I've always wanted one and considered it fate that there was one there when I went to the lfs. Now ~i was always under the impression that these, like the yellow ones, were safe and didn't 'nuke' (unless they were mangled) however reading what little there seems to be on the net was quite conflicting and has got me concerned  Most of the info is off forums and I'm not sure how reliable it is.

Has anyone had their tank 'nuked' by one of these sweeties? Do the eggs from the female 'nuke'?

I've seen him feed so he hasn't eviscerated in transit at any point, if that's relevant.

Thanks

Although I have no experience with the species you describe, generally speaking, brightly colored invertebrates that die tend to release a lot of toxins into the water. There are always exceptions to this rule, but Nudibranchs always come to mind, and almost all of those that are brightly colored nuke tanks good upon death...
