pink cons and others w/gouramis

would any new world cichlids, or africans, like pink cons( i know theyre NW) kill gouramis, how about corydoras catfish??

depends on the type of gourami and cichlid

electric yellows
gold gourami
blue gourami
bronze cory
panda cory


especialy the pink cons, thats what i really want. i think theyre the colloest ones around, though they are not that brightly colored, i want one so bad.

If you are talking about an albino strain of normal convict cichlids then they have absolutely no place in a community tank. They are very aggressive and territorial. They would also likely "trash" your tank! I took one in temporarily for some one who couldn't cope with it and by the end of the day all the plastic plants were uprooted, the gravel was all over the place and the heater was on the ground.

He went to some one with cichlid experience and a female for him to keep him occupied but if they breed you're going to have a horrendous problem rehoming the babies. Educated people don't want them as they are so aggressive.
