I have a pictus catfish. I feed sinking wafers, flakes, and frozen bloodworms. Recently, i haven't seen the pictus coming out at all, even at night, and haven't seen it eating. What should i do?

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Does the fish look pale or darker in colour.
Is the fish acting listless and lethagic.
Does the fish try to get off the bottom of the tank only to fall back down again.
Is the fish leaning to oneside.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing, excess mucas, laboured breathing, gasping, darting, or erratic swimming.
Does the fish look bloated or skinny.
What does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.
Any sores or red streaking on the fish body.

Its a 55 gallon tank. All of the fish are still small. I have a
BGK
3 silver dollars
2 Bala sharks
1 pleco
All tank stats are normal.
The pictus just stays in it's log, and swims back and forth.
I don't see anything out of the ordinary

Bala sharks need 100 gallon tanks. Plus there a shoaling fish so shouldn't really be kept in less than a group of 3.
If you can issoalate I would try a bacterial med.
Is he stressed.

he doesn't appear stressed.
I know that my fish will eventually need a bigger tank, but the Balas are still 3-4" so i will eventually upgrade

I would try a bacterial med. Once bacteria infections advance there hard to cure.
Good Luck.
