Would zebra danios, platies, tiger barbs, cories and a rainbow shark be okay with some pictus?

yeah for food
actually depends how big they are, if they are small, prob not. As they grow, yes

My pictus is only three inches but would eat like a horse if I let him lol. So far he's eaten everything under an inch long, but now he's started being able to eat whole pellets, so I migh have to move my cories eventually. I'm keeping guppies in with him right now, any fry I can't catch gets gobbled. If I ever manage to get enough guppies that actually breed right I won't try bother trying to catch any of them.


Last I heard the red tailed shark was a bad idea with pictus, at least thats what I was told.

I've got 2 pictus cats (3") (used to be 3 but my 5" died recently sob sob)

and a red tailed shark and they seem to get on ok

you're right about neons though , I seem to lose 1 a night

I've also got a large pakistani loach who plays with the cats all the time (best friends)

they are playful but wild feeders and great fun to watch

thier whiskers grow really long as they mature (longer than thier body)

must be my favourite fish by far

I think I'll buy another
