You're going to need another otto or two they like to be in groups. Didn't someone mention about not adding a shrimp with bettas and adding the same species of cories? I think you need to slow down and bring back everything you were told and then add the other fish you need like the ottos and more cories and female bettas, Then decide what to get after. I think someone mentioned that too. You are ignoring some peoples good advice! Good Luck

1 shrimp 7.95 dont know if its ok but it about 2 1/2 inch long does anyone know
probably a bad plan... large crustaceans like that just looooove the taste of fresh fish!

i would not be surprised if it munches on your bottom dwellers; since they inhabit the same level, they're especially vunerable -- i've seen freshwater lobsters attack common plecos before!

--edit--
about the different color cories: have you got albino and bronze cories? those are the only two different "colors" that are in the same species group. if you bought yet another species, just bring both schools up to the right size anyways.

two otos should be ok. i've had a singleton for ages now and he seems just fine--not skittish or afraid to just chill out with the other fish.

other than the shrimp, it seems mostly ok... better than it was, anyways!! its not like you could fix everything overnight anyways; last thing you want is a mini-cycle...

om thanks

did not know the shrimp will eat the fish he said in the shop it would be ok but grow to 5-6 inch long

so says i get rid of the large shrimp and add one more of the small ones ill be ok

NO SHRIMP

sorry, but you just don't have tankmates that will be compatible with shrimp.

the bettas and clowns will probably attack and devour any shrimp with claws under an centimeter long. any shrimp with larger claws will probably attack and devour your otos, corys, and even your pleco.

you cannot successfully keep any clawed shrimp in your tank!! the only thing you might could keep with your fish would be ONE feather shrimp.

Singapore Flower Shrimp it could be that it is brown and looks the same large body etc

the little shrimps seems ok he is on the rock no one had attacked him

when he comes out from under the rock i will takes pictures and host

the flower-shrimp or feather-claw shrimp is a very distinctive creature in that it has little feathery looking things instead of claws. if your large shrimp has an actual claw, he needs to be returned immediately. the first thing he will attempt tonight is to eat one or more of your fish.

I also think you need to start heading UP in the water coloum. Gouramis, hatchets, anything that is mid level or surface!

Like someone said before,

1) More plants
2) Expand those schoals!
3)Maybe some bogwood.

I think your main problem is lack of cover for your fish.

Will that shrimp have enough too eat? I hope so anywyas...

heh, it should if its got claws.... a little crab told me that cories are delicious ala carte...

actually, with the bettas, i'd recommend not adding any other mid-level fish beyond the glowlights. its so hard to figure out what a betta won't attack that also won't attack the betta. the shark further complicates the issue. plus, by the time you've got enough glowlights, cories, and betta girls, you're almost going to be fully stocked!

Wel forget that then, cause pica makes a good point....so just add more of thoise schoaling fish and more plants for sure!!! There are several easy groewing plants available that would not need too much light, and no CO2

shrimp must be ok no dead fish yet

updateing tank will post updated pictures and new fish list soon

UUUUUUGH
This post makes me want to SCREAM!

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY with a great big beautiful tank like that would you NOT research what to put into it first, rather than just dumping fish into it?
UUGH It would take me months to get a tank like that set up, and filled up.
:grr:

It sounds to me like you're being extremely lazy and want us to do all the work for you in telling you what to put into it, and you sit back and enjoy the benefits of it.

Also, a tiny FYI - ANY tank you have will be a LOT of work, so be prepared for it. AS will any animal. That's just a fact of life.

If the tank gets to be too much work for you, I know several people who'd LOVE to ahve a tank like that to baby and care for.

 its ok bettamomma!! you know how hard it is when you're new... i imagine most the people on here only joined after they had already (mis-)stocked their tank. i know i never did any research to speak of before i bought my 60g. of course not listening to advice is a different issue... yet somehow that one always seems to be self-rectifying...

for every person who signs on here with no clue, there are twenty more who never ask anything. i'm just glad that someone is asking questions. too many "fish-keepers" never investigate anything at all.

but loates123, remember this about your shrimp: you have been warned.

I suppose you're a tad bit right. lol

But it seems like this person hasn't read a THING even since getting the whole thing set up - and went and returned stuff and got more bad stuff before finding out if it was okay.

It just irritates me to NO end.

Can you tell?

Hi loates123.

Congratulations on getting your first tropical set-up. Be prepared for a lot of information to come your way, and try to take in as much as you can.

The people here are really trying to help, not attack you personally, and please be patient.

Just keep in mind that everyone here wants you to have a wonderful fishkeeping experience, and we were all in your shoes once. (this might be good for everyone else to keep in mind too)

Be fair, ask questions, agree only when it makes sense to do so, and disagree only when it makes sense to do so.

Good luck and be positive!
