A combtail?? Never heard of that. I thought it was odd that his fin ends were spikes, but I thought he was a veil.

I know! The purpleness is one of the things that caught my eyes about him...the different tail, the other. I wish my lfs had crowntails and halfmoons!

Oh, NY, i'm not from there. Though, if you're ever in CA near the San Fransisco area, there is a store called Petclub on Norfolk ave. they have only crownie girls and often true crownie, but mostly combtail guys. Also live foods at reasonable prices.

How do you guys get your photos so clear? Mine are never that clear even using different cams

I use my flash but aim it away from the direct fish. Sometimes to get better lighting I use a flashlight too along with the light in the tank hood. I try not to zoom in alot because those are usually not well focused. Zoom out, press and hold down the button on the camera slightly (digital cam) and it will focus on the fish. When you get a good view of the fish then press it all the way...it'll take an instant shot.
