Here are the picture of my second time breeding of my Sulthasine red halfmoon with maximus red halfmoon. OLALA. Oh yeah. The male tail already bitten by another cranky red female. What the hake. Breeding is like that one so he work pretty hard now. 500 to 800 eggs today been laid by the female. :) They are expert now. :hyper:

Wow! great pics

That's a lot of eggs, if they all hatch he's gonna be a hard working daddy when they start falling out the nest

Good luck with the spawn :)

Here are the first batch of babies! I think I need to make up this red babies breeding name. Both parent are from different breeder so this batch will be my first time. Hmmm. I should called them Firstime Red babies line! LOL
Yes :grr: or No

OK. The result of the second batch of red halfmoon.
Drum rolling!!!!!! YES!!! I saw babies in the tank! HURRAY!!! HE DONE IT AGAIN!!! :kana: :hey:     :kana: :kana: :hey:

My new observation about this male. He didn't eat the unfertilized eggs. I see a lot of unfertilized eggs on the bottom. I see a bunch of babies tail on the top(uncount 300plus??). Some swimming up and down too and he been working hard. The second batch looks so well plan by him. He distribute the eggs yesterday on the top surface like organizing them. Never seen this thing in betta breeding before. I did have the picture taken anyway. Will post it later. I have to take some shot about the unfertilized eggs. :)

Someone asking me about my breeding tank. It is good and I will buy more next time. It keeps the inside moisture to avoid the bubbles pops! Don't break any holes in it. Just set it up if you get new. :) Eclipes 5 gallon.
Here is the picture.

The second time breeding is so different from the first time. The male is very organizing and didn't eat the unfertilized eggs? Look at the bottom and you can see those eggs he left there. Funny.

look at the bubble nest! He just distribute the bubbles up and the space so he could see better. Last time is not like that! He is so organizing.
