so here is my tank, waiting on the bog wood to soak b4 we add that, and going to buy more plants when the bog wood is in, any advice about the tank on looks ect would be helpful, at the moment we have 3 angel fish, bubble disc with interpet air pump(AV3) and fluval 4 filter +heater, could we get 3D background for a corner tank? :good:

Aw, I just got rid of a tank that looks exactly like that :(

Looks hoof so far, some plants and stuff would finish it off nicely, and Yeh, u can defo get some 3D background for that.

Look forward to see the finished product :)

Good, looks good so far :) not hoof haha

haha cheers Gary what plants would you suggested? we like to try and cover the heater/cables with some high plants if possible, just looking on eBay 3d background £100  I don’t think so ha

3D backgrounds are expensive, but you can make some yourself!! :)

I suggest amazon sword plants (Echinodorus amazonicus) or creeping jenny (Lysimachia nummularia), they are quite easy to care for, and get get beautiful and big! ;) If you want a moss- type of plant, you should check out java moss but they could cover up your whole tank!! ;)

Good luck! Nice tank btw! ;)

forgot to say i sprayed the tank gloss black as it was brown when i got it , and changed the handles as they where gold :good:

thanks alot tom :) what fish have you got with your angel fish ?

your tank would look good with some leafy plants, backround plants, and carpet plants like
vallis
anubias
hygrophila polysperma, or corymbosa
micro sword,
java moss
dwarf hairgrass

Well with angels you can have a lot of fish, as long as they are calm and don't bother each other. You could have Rams , hatchet fish, Cory cats, danios, gouramies, guppies, killifish, loaches, mollies, plecos etc. :) If I where you I'd exchange the gravel to some sand, and have corys, angels and some other types. The corys are excellent clean up crew, and are lovely fish! ;)

was going to get a plec but he end up eating all my plants and well i just brought that gravel £50 ha

Hey tom , ive just order some black sand  ,how many corys would i need?,and would they be ok with the bn pleco that i have now lol would the plec get pissed off with like 6 corys swimming around ?

Looks much better than before! Done a good job there :good:

I have a 190l corner tank with a 3D background, i'd deffo reccomend getting one! Pain to do when your already using the tank mind :p.

I have a thread here: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/362172-schottaybs-juwel-trigon-190/page__p__3018471__hl__%2Bschottayb+%2Bjuwel__fromsearch__1#entry3018471 - from when I brought the tank and installed the 3d background.

This is what the tank looks like now: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/401537-schottayb-juwel-trigon-190/

I do love the corner tanks, just wish I had the 350L :p

Look forward to more pictures!
