I just don't get it... maybe i'm taking pictures too close or maybe i have shaky hands but my pics always look slightly blurry! My cam is 3.1mp Kodak so it SHOULD be ok... but my pics always have a slight *noise* to them.

Anyway here they are..

I have the exact same cam. If you turn the flash off they're always grainy. I always use a flash unless I have direct sunlight. Pretty fishes!!

Thanks heather, yes the flash does make a difference but it often reflects badly off the glass or off the fish themselves....maybe it will be easier taking pics in my new tank!!

Ben :)

Nice, top one looks a bit fat! :D

Can you adjust the ISO speed on your camera? If so try playing with that, it may reduce the grainy-ness. :)

With low lighting it's probably keeping the shutter open longer than you want it to. Rather than using the flash I'd just grab a couple lights from around the house and put them up close to it... then you can control the glare and the fish won't look like it's under a spotlight.

thanks for the advice guys, Will have to have a play with lighting i thinkm!

pic of entire tank as requested..
