I was afraid that was what it was. OMG I feel like crying . I think I am going to have to dip into the piggy bank after all. Is tetracycline readily available? Is it a decent price? I am in Canada if that makes any difference. Is there a recommended medication? My poor baby.

I know that Tetracycline is readily available in the U.S. Don't know if it is in Canada. It SHOULD be somewhere like Petsmart or Petco, and certainly in smaller, independently owned fish stores.

Tetracycline is a very good med, and should help. No idea on pricing.

Many sympathies, but at least now you know what it is. Not much is worse than having them die on you without ever figuring out what it is that had them sick. And now you can treat it.
