Awesome fish and pics you got there Alanky! My two favourite pics would have to be the one of your albino cory and the frog standing up! I got 3 picture requests though if you ever decide to take more pics. It would be nice to see pics of your 55gallon tank, your betta tank and your betta!

Thanks for the compliments! Here are some pics for you.

The betta tank. I just bought a 10 gallon for him today and more plants, so the 5 Gallon is going to be a spare tank real soon.

Here is the Betta. His fins are not near as long as they should be. Friend of mine bought him and dont know much about fish. Infact he has given up on them. Anyway he put it in with his angelfish and they nipped him way down. He brought him to me and it looked like a female! Since then he has griwn most of his fins back and seems to be healthy. I thought for sure he was going to die.

Here is one of the few shrimp in with him. The fish in the backgrond isnt a real fish. It is printed on the background paper.

I'm so glad that the loach got nominated, too!! Just look at his sweet little face; how could anyone not fall in love with him?

Nope, I dont mind at all. Every pic I put up was to share. What fun would it be if I put up these pics and told you guys that you couldnt use or save them? I love the Kuhli loaches! They take great pics. I will have to upload all of my pics to my online gallery and put a link on here. It figures that my favorite Kuhli pic (the one I posted) would show some dirt on the glass. I went down and cleaned the glass after I noticed that in the pic, so it wont happen again. I was at the LFS today and saw they just got in some Spotted Dojo Loaches. I came back here and re-searched a little on them and may get one or two of them tomarrow. I would really like to get an Albino Kuhli loach. My LFS had one and I fell in love! Went home to get some cash, drove right back up there and he had already been sold.

Hi Alanky

It's too bad you missed out on the albino loach. Will your lfs find another for you?

I like loaches, too, but right now I just have 2 weatherfish. They are very active and not at all shy like some loaches tend to be.

If you ever have a chance to get horse-faced loaches, give them a try, too. I used to have some and liked them a lot.

My LFS has tried to find me another albino, but came up empty handed. They also told me they quit geting all the Kuhli's because they couldnt keep them alive. My Kuhlis have been fine and healthy, so maybe they just said that so they wouldnt have to look for the albino's. Or maybe I know something they dont. HAHA. I went to another FS about 35 minutes away from me today just to see what they had. Ended up buying two Spotted Dojo's and one Golden weather loach (dojo). I was happy as a pig in you know what when I saw the dojo's. I will have to start a new thread for the dojo's, since this thread already has tons of pics. Takes forever to load sometimes! Funny you say something about the Horse Faced loaches. Buddy of mine had two of them when I was in High School. Neat little fish! I wonder if they are still alive. I have not seen the guy since High School. The FS I went to today also had a TON of Dwarf Frogs and Clawed frogs. Clawed frogs were only $1.50 to. Cheaper then anywhere else around here!, But I dont need anymore!

I will post the Dojo's in the "Oddball's institute" since I dont see a dedicated Loach section. Take a look when you get a chance!
