You will need a small 12volt plug in adaptor for the lighting as this doesn't come with one, very simple to wire in will instruct you how to do so if needed.

What the pump? not really, hums sometimes but it was next to my tanks so couldn't hear much as you could only hear the water circulating in my bigger tank.

I've been trying to resist this one for a while as well, as I have nowhere to put it.....although that doesn't make resisting any easier.

Permission from the OH for another larger tank though, that's what stopped me.
