Pic - Fry Count 121 - Various Ages

Enjoy! Fry were placed into portable tank while a new rock was being placed into fry tank. This allowed us to get a good pic and a fry count when placing them back into their tank.

That is A LOT of fry. Try putting a light only on the tank and with the room lights off. The picture will come out better.

About 6 of my females guppies are mother to guppy fry. I actually bought 2 female platys a month ago and the next day I found them dead with lotsa little fry around my tank. So I guess they dropped before dying.

So instead of buying more I decided to rear the fry and breed them.

I am breeding as a hobby and to sell to mlfs who I am friends with. Breeding fish is mine and my partners hobby together. Because we have a 3 year old daughter its something we can do at home and we both enjoy. Even my daughter is learning about fish. Its Cool! Ive only been doing this about a year, and already I have expanded to a 73 litre custom made tank and a 30 litre fry tank from a small round fish bowl with no filteration or anything. Breeding fish is addictive..!!! I love it!!! I have teenage platty and guppy in my main tank they are developing awesome colour. The fry in the fry tank when they start to develop colour and are decent size they get transfered into main tank until we see colour in full then we pick what colours we want and we group some up and take to lfs. Either sell or exchange for goods.

We are currently working on breeding our corydoras...This is a little more challenging but fun all the same. Glad you like our babies.

Thanks...I actually got a better pic of him late last night...havnt had time to upload yet though. The new pic really shows his colours. I will post a little later so keep an eye out if you want a better look. My little red tail boy has a sister with a red tail too, she is really pretty.

I also took pics of my fry tank last night with the new rock in it. Looks mad. I also took pics of the main tank which has also been reconstructed in the past week. Please keep posted.
