Just caught my spear tail guppy female giving birth

And these would be one of the potential dads - though I've never been able to get a photo of any of the males to do them justice.

Thanks guys ! They're lovely little fish and much smaller than "fancy" guppies. Males are around 1" max and females 1.5" (head to base of tail). Super cool little fish - a shame I've never been able to ge a good pic of one of the males. But they are super fast

Thanks Being so small the females usually have between 5 and 9 (the most I've yet counted).

i have NEVER seen gupies that look like that. could you tell me all of the names of both the males and females as i would like to buy some for my 55 gal i want to get over the summer.

they look awsome!

i have seen female livebearers give birth and it was cool, but whenever i went to grab a camera they were always "done". lucky you to catch that.
