Thanks akudewan, I'm not sure it's that brilliant, but it's the best I've taken, considering the camera I'm using isn't the best, and I've only recently started taking photos...

It isn't as sharp or clear as I'd like but I guess that comes with practice and knowing your camera.

Also, the pics aren't the best scans, they aren't digital, so even the big pics can look fuzzy whereas the prints are crystal clear.

How do you photograph basil so still? Every time I go up to our cat she walks right up to me and start head-butting me ( with affection) as she always does would love a pic of her like that--need to start training her I think

Basil is special--he is deaf and can't hear me taking pictures. He really doesn't mind staying still. He doesn't move quickly and fluidly like other cats being as he has an equilibrium. So he sits still a lot.


Edit: Also, Basil isn't overly affectionate. He very seldom rubs on me. I still wub him though... =)

Love cats . Alot of white cats are known to be deaf Will try and catch out our cat by zooming in from behind a chair She is so affectionate ,she is forever licking you and she sleeps on me at night---that is until I roll over and she rolls off bless her

Bloo, I'm so lazy -lol- I haven't gotten my stuff up on a site yet. I'm workin' on it though, tweaking and resizing a bunch of stuff to put up. I'll let you know when I have some stuff to look at
