Fish Crazy
About 6 years ago, my axolotls had their first successful spawning. Unfortunately, due to parasitic issues at the time, only one survived. Her name was Jackie. Here she is from teeny tiny to the ginormous animal she is now.
In the egg, she'd have looked a lot like this one:
As a 1 day old hatchling:
Here she was at a couple of weeks old. So glad she kept the fluffy gills:
A bit bigger:
8-10 weeks ish:
3-4 moths:
Growing up at about 10 months. In with mum and dad now:
About a year and a half:
Jackie's a mum!
And finally, here she is today. From nose to tail she's about 34cm!
So that's my baby who's brought me babies upon babies upon babies. I'm a great great great great grand-axie
