Ph Meter

seems ok to me and the price is very good for a digital ph meter

...... but nobody seems to like ph probes i dunno why...
it is like everything else in life
"you get what you pay for"
in other words a Skoda is not going to have the quality of a Rolls Royce.

I think there may also be an issue of exactly how accurate a cheap ph probe will be
compared to an expensive one.

I have a Vitalsine pH/ORP Monitor that cost me 60 quid trade
I'd hate to think how much it retails at :S
but it is extremely accurate (if looked after) and the probes are replaceable.
this is the one I have
http://tmc-ltd.co.uk/aquarium/vitalsine-monitors.asp
and could be purchased from any shop that deals with TMC (normally a LFS that sells marine fish will deal with TMC)
but like I say probably very expensive at retail.

Yeah, you get what you pay for is right. Cheap pH probes are notoriously inaccurate, even expensive ones that we use for science here at work can be flaky. TBH, the things are more trouble than they're worth IMO. Not bad for indication/monitoring, but I would never ever use one for control purposes. JMO
