Ph Drops At Night

My pH drops from 8.05 to 7.8 at night. Ive a small wooden stone to get the air to the tank. Is that the problem why the pH droops?? Should I turn it off for the night or put more air??

your ph raises when the lights are on. the extra o2 increases the ph too. if you have a sump you can reverse light it to decrease the fluctuation in ph.

i wouldnt say that sort of change is a problem though.
