Pfk Nano Cube

Wow This tank has certainly caused some frustration!! I think once it has settled down and you've all got them set up you should all post pics of the amazing things you done with them on one thread!. Also the more experienced people would be able to give the less experienced some good ideas!! :good:

Plus, us unfortunates who didn't take up the offer can drool over your little tanks and next time a free offer comes up.........ORDER!!!! :lol:

and finally finally if someone other than me tells you you are getting something other than your tank, please I urge you from the bottom of my heart to ignore them.

Please also bear in mind that I work on three other magazines and am therefore not always at my desk, therefore i can't always reply to people on the same day as you email me.

That's all fine but why doesn't any body just put a news item up on the PFK website informing people of what’s going on, the main problem is lack of information from you and the team at Practical Fishkeeping.

beggers can't be choosers!!

mine was broken, but only the lid, which is only a piece of glass, i think they're going to work out how to send me a replacement, but no rush, i'm not setting it up yet.
 
To be honest, the email that was originally sent out should have been BCC'd rather than merged to everyone who applied for a Nano tank. The PFK website does state that emails are kept confidential...

"We're committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect only for the purposes for which you have consented. We won't pass on your personal information to others without your permission."

I count my E-mail address as personal information.

And Wandgrudd speaks sense, why not advertise the progress of the tanks with some collective information on the PFK website, meaning less E-mails to poor Stuart and more info to the people who applied.

Catxx, it might be a freebie, but paying by debit card means I am actually paying something towards the tank, even if it is a minimal amount, I still expect the details of my order to be updated.

I completely understand PFK have gone in way over their heads with this offer, but after being re-assured that a tank will be arriving soon I have no more complaints.

Hopefully lessons will be learnt from this.

I agree with the above, but I think I've been sufficiently convinced that my tank WILL turn up eventually, so lets keep counting the days!
 
The whole offer is a shambles! PFK should have been able to anticipate that this offer was gonna be very popular since the free gift is obviously more desired than the usual water meds or whatever it is they give usually! It is not fair that customers are being made to feel as though they are pests when all they are doing is enquiring as to the whereabouts of something they have been promised! As wandgrudd said, why arent they sending weekly updates to people or posting news on their website? If you leave people in the dark about the information they are giving to some people and not others they should expect to be hounded!
 
I got mine today. really pleased with it! just setup the filter in another tank to start things off, and now planning a trip to the fish shop tomorrow for a co2 system, substrate and some plants. At least i've got somthing to do over the christmas break!

WHat a Lovley Suprise, A brand new REPLACEMENT tank was waiting for me as i walked in the door just now.
Cannot believe Aquadistri were able to send me a replacement tank so quickly.
 
can someone send me the link on how to subscribe? It doesnt mention the tank on the site it says something about a hydor light.
 
same mine did too :)

for those who havent just be patient, and the whole offer isnt a shambles, they did say that it would take until the new year to get them out, so they have done better than expected. Plus its free for crying out loud, beggers cant be choosers.
 
Mine arrived today as well. :D Broken lid though! :X

Nevermind, I'm sure once Mr Webster has recovered from a suitable New Year hangover, it will be sorted out. Then it's fry time! :hyper:

It was withdrawn within a few days due to too many people subscribing ;) Thats why there are so many grumpy people around who missed out or can't wait until January without whining like spoiled brats.
