Hi
Went into this store yesterday to get Dog food, Have never bought fish from there since a bad experience 2 yrs ago with White spot !!
Hope the new re vamp means that they will be keeping better stocked fish , seems nationwide they are upgrading the fish dept.
Will have to wait and see ?? :fun:

I wouldn't hold out any hope, my local store (Telford) has undergone a revamp and held a special event day to publicise it, saying that there was 20% off all fish products, prize draws, free advice etc.... Every bit of advice I heard on the day was utterly wrong, they're still hooked on the 'let the tank run for a week and then you can add fish' mentality. The tank environments looked better I must admit but there were still many sick and listless fish, lots had whitespot but were still being offered for sale. :(

Hmm, wont hold out much hope then lol

The one here's pretty bad for advice, but the fish themselves dont seem too bad, despite some over-stocking. But I'd assume that they'd have sufficient filtration for that. Rarely dead fish in the bottom, and they all seem happy and healthy.
(They're right next to asda so i often pop in and have a look whilst doing my shopping!)

I like to blame the staff, but surely it's not their fault. They must be tought some strange things during their training!
