Petrified Wood Rock For Sale

i have several pieces of petrified wood rock for sale.

this is ancient wood that has fossilised and turned into rock over time. when wet it gives an almost red/pink/purple look to it and looks great. i am no longer using it so it may as well go and be used by someone.

due to its weight it will have to be collection only unless you live near or can get to wharf aquatics as i am planning a trip there soon.....

below are a few pics of what it looks like in a tank.

i think there is about 6 pieces, if any interest then ill dig them out and get measurements and exact numbers etc

Yeah I think so, depends how much you want for it. What ya getting from wharf?

they cost me about £6 each and ive just checked and there are 5 pieces. so i would sell the lot for £12 if you want?

im on the hunt for black sand as i cant seem to find any decent stuff locally and might grab a few bits of root if any catch my eye

im also tempted to get a pair or trio of rainbow cichlids and im a sucker for a new catfish

How do you think Keith would do with a full grown ellioti? Fish food?

Think I'm gonna leave the rock, the missus isn't happy with how much o have been spending of late. Unless you want to swap it for an ellioti? Lol.

i have been thinking about an ellioti or firemouth tbh so may well do the swap.

i have 3-4 inch arulius barbs, 3 inch humbug catfish, 9 inch bgk and a 5-6 inch jaguar cat in with keith that he doesnt touch so ive been tempted to try a smaller cichlid like rainbows etc.

could you get the fish to wharf? or better leicester?

do you have a pic of the fish now its settled in?

Could definitely get the fish to wharf mate. The pictures are in the new world cichlid section. I have two bit they don't get on in my tank. I believe they are both males. One has been fin nipped slightly.

ok let me have a think about it as i did really want rainbow cichlids but cant find any decent sized ones

Ok Matt. I removed 2 spot last night as he was being really horrible to the new one and let the new one settle in a bit. Added him back in this morning and things are better now apart from the odd chase. No idea how they would fare with Keith though. Lol.
