I recently had to do 2 water changes due to fear the silicone I used for a shrimp cave caused excess ammonia in my water. This wasn't the case and after a PH, Nitrate/Nitirite, and amonia test, everything was ok.
Two days after my 2nd water change, ALL my pest snails died. Today I noticed my Ramshorn, who is about 4 months old, isn't latching onto anything and is moving really slow. I quickly moved him to another tank.
On Saturday I put some MTS in my tank and they seem to be doing quite well. They come out every night and do their buisness. This in turn brings me to my question. What would cause my pest snails to all die at once but my MTS to be doing ok so far?
