anyways... looks like a pretty decent set-up, Betta5. although I would skip out on the heater and air-pump in favor of a light and some floating plants. but then i live in a place that's still 95F on a daily basis

I got one of those tanks,mine was 50p from a car boot! Trouble is its the only one like that my others are critter keepers,so it has to stand by itself or it sticks out like a sore thumb. They are really nice though. One teacher at school has about 4 in his room with GALS, an albino toad, fish and stick insects in.


ps you can get those hydro mini heaters that is what I use, you wont need an air pump for a betta. I bought a 99p clear plastic bucket and keep it full of water tucked away in my kitchen then I just do water changes quickly with the water that has stood!

Liz, sorry to be dense, but what is a hydro mini heater? Most heaters I've seen cost upwards of £14. Some on ebay can be cheaper but when you add in the postage....
