If you are walking towards a signpost and someone else is walking away from the same signpost and you are both watching it at the same time...


The signpost is getting bigger and smaller simultaneously

Thoughts?

But the actual signpost isn't changing size, it's only your perception of it, based on your location, that's changing. In the same as a cow that's really far away isn't a very small cow

Yeah I know and you would assume that to be correct but how could you yourself not being next to the signpost, actually know for definite that the signpost has a fixed size

Because for something to change its mass/shape requires some form of energy, it can't happen spontaneously.

Well then I propose that energy is only in existence when it is observed therefore it does not exist if you cannot measure it.
