im thinking of getting a small shoal of these. Would they be ok ina tank that has just cycled?

If it's been properly cycled, then yes. I kept these a couple of years ago, as I liked the look of Tiger Barbs, but wanted a peaceful tank. What size is your tank and what fish do you already have?.

Its been cycling for just over a month now. Im doing a fish-in cycle and ive added mature filter media.
