guys im off out to get some pebbles for my tank for my german rams. can i get them of the baech??

Might not be the best idea - you don't know what bacteria or other micro-organisms you're bringing into the tank. You could boil & bleach them (then soak in dechlor to get rid of the bleach), though I don't know if that would make them 100% safe or not.

Please don't boil rocks! If they have trapped air in them, they could explode; it could be really dangerous.

All they need is a soak in boiling water (just pour it over the top), a bit of a scrub and then leaving until completely dried out.

ok so how long do i boil them for?? lol joke

cheers guys would it be better getting them from a stream or something or is the beach fine?

Beach is actually better, because there are virtually no parasites that can live in both fresh and saltwater, so just normal water will kill most marine organisms, even if your boiling water/scrubbing missed anything.

check its allowed too, if we are caught removing sand or stones from our beaches we could find ourselves staying at her majesties pleasure
