hi, i was just wondering where i can buy some peat in the UK to use in my filter? i've heard most places have stopped selling it now as it's endangering the environment....

There's some in my lfs (a world of water chain) in nottingham. Its a fluval type, intended for use in a fluval filter

My LFS does the same Fluval brand as well. Places like Pets@Home don't do that sort of thing, but if you haven't got any other LFS locally there are plenty of places online that sell it. Here's a couple of examples:

If you do a search on google UK for +fluval +peat you'll get loads of places.

SERA also sell peat granules for filters. My lfs (Downtown Garden Centre in Grantham) always have it in stock.
